We are working to rehabilitate the airport in Selawik, Alaska. Located in northwest Alaska, the village of Selawik is not accessible by road and relies heavily on its airport for year-round passenger flights, freight, mail deliveries, and critical medivac services. Improvements to the airport will help ensure that operations remain safe and reliable so these essential community services can continue uninterrupted.
Public meetings were held in Kotzebue and Selawik on May 12 and 13, 2025. Learn what we heard during these meetings here.
If you have any questions or comments about the project, please contact: Lindsey Webb, P.E. For individuals requiring TTY communications, please contact Alaska Relay at 7-1-1 or 1-800-770-8973 |
